NFPA has reserved a limited block of rooms at the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans. The National Fluid Power group rate is $289 per night plus applicable taxes. Cancellation Policy is 72 hours prior to arrival
3 days pre/post event group rate available if block is 80% or less full at time of booking.
It is highly encouraged to book your room early. Especially in the days leading up to Mardi Gras Day if you plan on coming early. These rooms will go fast and it will be difficult to add more once the block is full.
For the opening night, 2/17/26, we are providing a dinner after the normal networking reception for all attendees. This is a casual dinner and will be Mardi Gras themed.
Tabletop Exhibition
Maximize Your Brand Visibility at the Annual Conference!
Showcase your company and products by reserving a tabletop exhibit at the 2026 Annual Conference. This exhibition will run throughout the entire duration of the conference, offering unparalleled exposure to potential customers and clients.
Tabletops will be strategically located in the foyer just outside the ballroom, near the registration area, ensuring high visibility. Tables are 6'x30" with dark grey linen and 2 chairs. Setup begins Tuesday afternoon, with teardown scheduled for Thursday following the conclusion of the conference.
***Due to Mardi Gras Parade activity happening on Tuesday, please arrive with display items on Monday or have them shipped to the hotel prior to Tuesday.***

Mardi Gras (Tuesday) Arrivals
We’re thrilled that this year’s NFPA Annual Conference coincides with Mardi Gras—a truly unique and exciting opportunity to experience New Orleans at its most vibrant!
Please note that Mardi Gras Day presents some logistical challenges due to citywide celebrations. Parades will result in extensive street closures, which may prevent vehicles from reaching hotel entrances directly. Depending on your arrival time, you may need to be dropped off nearby and walk a short distance to your hotel. We recommend bringing luggage that is easy to roll or carry through crowds.
The Zulu parade is expected to pass directly in front of the hotel during the morning into early afternoon hours, causing road access to be limited during this time.
Due to these restrictions, we strongly advise against renting a vehicle. Instead, we recommend using a ride-share service such as Uber or Lyft, or a taxi, for transportation from the airport. These drivers are familiar with the situation and will know how to navigate the city during this time.
