The University of Houston is hosting an on-campus event at the new Cullen College of Engineering facility in Sugar Land, TX, in collaboration with its student organizations. In addition to UH participants, local high school students are invited, and we anticipate a strong turnout from both groups—representing a wide variety of engineering majors, programs, and interests. UH now offers four engineering degree programs and is the largest engineering college in Texas.

During the event, attendees will follow a rotating schedule featuring lab tours, presentations from UH student organizations, and discussions with NFPA industry professionals. NFPA will provide information on scholarships and career opportunities in fluid power, with the overarching goal of connecting local NFPA member companies with students through panel discussions and direct interaction, inspiring them to consider fluid power in their academic and career paths.

11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Central

Register today to reserve your company’s spot. We recommend that each participating company bring multiple representatives—such as an HR professional and an engineer—so students can ask a wide range of questions about your organization. More information will be provided soon!
