This presentation will provide an overview of Vermeer Manufacturing Products and describe some of the differences in the reliability requirements of the agriculture and construction markets. Several examples of how customers can reduce the total cost of ownership through predictive and preventative hydraulic system maintenance will be presented. The presentation will conclude with a glimpse of Vermeer’s perspective on future customer requirements for hydraulic system reliability.

10:30am – 11:10am Market Solutions: Connected Systems and Machines

Antonio Lettini, Group R&D Manager, Casappa S.p.A

Mr. Lettini will talk primarily about the benefits of digital technology applied to variable displacement piston pumps with integrated controls and sensors that send data to the cloud for monitoring and analysis that includes estimates of residual pump life, occurred anomalies, and severity of operation cycles.
